Rectorial pole of the Academy of Créteil
Bureaux en structure bois
The new Pôle rectoral de l'Académie de Créteil brings together the services of the Rectorat de Créteil, the DSDEN Val de Marne and the CROUS. Set in a landscape with strong urban contrasts, between a road junction bordered by the A86 and the Triangle de l'Echat, its ascending volume and its wide terraces in tiers constitute a clearly identifiable architectural signal.
The building is designed with a flexible structural system such as wooden post-beams to reduce the carbon footprint of the operation.
The volumetric fragmentation of the building reveals a tier of large terraces with gardens that offer the staff generous extensions of their work space with views to the outside. An important place is given to the mutualization of spaces and services within the building through the common patio, all the terraces and the shared restaurant.
