Campus Arboretum
Campus de bureaux en structure bois
Arboretum, Europe’s largest low-carbon office campus, is designed to offer its employees unrivalled comfort and well-being. Located on the major axis connecting the Louvre, Place de l’Etoile and the Grande Arche, Arboretum is part of a vast 9 hectares (32 acres) private territory, right by the Seine in the large La Défense district. The place was previously occupied by an industrial paper mill. Today, Five buildings in solid CLT wood (cross laminated timber) and two rehabilitated buildings enclose a large interior park.
The campus’ design completely renews the relationship between the workplace and nature, a source of well-being and health for employees. Each floor is extended by vast terraces (up to 170 m²), connecting offices to outdoor spaces.
The campus is organized around two main service poles linked by Arboretum’s park. The main entrance building, turned towards the city of Nanterre, offers 5 restaurants, a drugstore, and the welcome desk. The second pole, by the Seine in the rehabilitated buildings, hosts three restaurants, a sports’ club and a business center.
